Upgrade to Windows 10 for Free

If you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 you can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free. Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 on January 14th, 2020.

Prerequisite

1. Make sure you have a good backup before attempting to upgrade.
2. Uninstall antivirus software.

Method 1

1. Download the Windows 10 Media creation tool.
2. Follow the instructions and go get some coffee while Windows 7 is upgraded to Windows 10.

Method 2

1. Download and install WinCDEmu.
   • This program is need to mount the ISO.
2. Download and Install 7zip.
   • The Windows 10 download on our site is compressed using 7zip.
3. Download Windows 10 x64 update.
4. Extract the ISO and run setup.exe
5. Follow the instructions and go get some coffee while Windows 7 is upgraded to Windows 10.

Post Upgrade

1. Install your antivirus program.
2. Run Windows Updates until they are all installed.
3. Install driver updates available from your computers manufacturer’s website.
